So, it's time for fandom_stocking. Last year I signed up to be a last minute stocking-stuffer, this year I'm going to have my own stocking. :) It's a great comm, you don't need to be a fic writer to participate and it's open to all fandoms, go check it out.

I've managed to get two of my three icon posts for the month done. I'm hoping to get the last one posted by Monday.

I really liked it, it was better than I expected it to be. Although, you have to ignore the plot holes that were the size of Jupiter.

Honestly, they never would have made it out of LA.. Driving through collapsing buildings, flying between collapsing buildings. Not gonna happen. Then they get to Yellowstone. The plane would have coughed a died when it was enveloped in that ash cloud. The Earth's crust could not shift 1,500 miles in just a couple hours.

Like I said, plot holes and there are more. Lots more. I liked it for the explosions and the 'stay ahead of the disaster' running.

Made by musesrealm. It's made with a font that types a barcode in place of letters and numbers. She has one of her own name that she uses occasionally and I thought it was cool. One day she asked her flist if any of us would like one... I also use it as my default picture on MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.

Made by leatharegee Cain/Glitch, my OTP from Tin Man. The only fandom I have an OTP in. 'Good morning, sweetheart' is from a line between Cain and Glitch in part 3 or 4.

Made by felis_astrum Roger Daltrey drinking a cup of tea. I try to limit myself to just few icons from each fandom, etc. unless I can also use them as non-fandom icons. This one fits that nicely.

The first of the breed specific abilities has been implemented. YAY!! And it's a useful one!

As of the State of the Cave 10/04/2009, the new pink dragons are able to influence eggs. Using a male pink you can influence an egg to be male and a female pink can influence an egg to be female. More breed specific abilities will be added soon. :)

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

I went to the 70th anniversary showing of The Wizard of Oz. It was really cool to see it on the big screen. I enjoyed it much more than I do watching it at home.

What else have I been up to...

Last weekend we had a yard sale. We made $126, so it was definitely worth the hassle. We have enough stuff left that we're going to do it again this weekend (starting tomorrow).

I'm hoping to get tickets for the Michael Jackson 'This Is It' showing. It all depends on how expensive the tickets are. I know his record company (Epic Records) wants the tickets to be like $25-$100, but AEG (who is putting it on) wants to keep them affordable ($10-$20). So, we'll see.

The season premire of Dancing with the Stars was this week. I think my top 5 for this season are:
Joanna Krupa, Aaron Carter, Donny Osmond, Kelly Osbourne and Mya

I went to see Tim Sigler (a local musician) perform tonight. Most of those pictures came out fuzzy as well, but I managed to salvage one of them.
